Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classic music Boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic music along with older classical songs. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as drama and opera. Ana began learning to play and sing in the early years alongside her mother. The formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of chamber and opera choirs. Following her move to the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present place in the southern part of California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. In addition to being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her active in a variety of projects. Ana has also been a former part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, to inspire a love, especially for the young generation, for keeping this music vibrant.
